What are the benefits of BOTOX® Cosmetic?
BOTOX® injections temporarily reduce or eliminate vertical frown lines between the eyebrows, horizontal forehead creases, crow’s feet near the outer eyes, visible bands in the neck, and other less common facial concerns. BOTOX® injections can also be used to treat migraine headaches, excessive sweating, and certain muscle spasm conditions.
Who is a good candidate for BOTOX® Cosmetic?
To determine if you are a good candidate for BOTOX® Cosmetic, you will meet with Nicole during your consultation. After understanding your goals and desires, Nicole will carefully examine your facial regions. They will devise an individualized treatment plan and explain it to you.
How long does BOTOX® Cosmetic last?
Every patient’s experience is unique, and BOTOX® Cosmetic may last a different amount of time for you than for someone who has been treated many times before. Most individuals see about three to four months of benefits, although repeated treatment can lead to longer-lasting outcomes. If you like the results of BOTOX® Cosmetic, routine injections can be used to extend the length of your result.
What are BOTOX® injections like??
If you elect to proceed with treatment, our nurse practitioner will inject BOTOX® Cosmetic with a very small needle. We offer topical anesthetic cream to minimize any discomfort during the injections. Bruising is rare. The full effects of BOTOX® injections can take up to two weeks to set in, and the benefits should last at least three to four months. We recommend avoiding strenuous exercise just after treatment but patients may drive and return to work immediately.
